AADH — EUDR compliance

The EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR)

Regulation (EU) 2023/1115 sets the conditions for placing seven commodities — cattle, cocoa, coffee, oil palm, rubber, soya and wood — and listed products made from them on the EU market or exporting them from it. They must be:

  • deforestation-free: produced on land not deforested since 31 December 2020;
  • legally produced, under the laws of the country of production;
  • covered by a due diligence statement, with the geolocation of every plot.

It applies from 30 December 2026 for large and medium operators, and from 30 June 2027 for micro and small enterprises (Regulation (EU) 2025/2650).

What AADH does

AADH holds the record behind a statement: plot geolocation, cooperatives and harvest batches, regional deforestation and legality evidence. Where an operator mandates it, AADH files the statement as its Authorised Representative (Article 6). The operator remains responsible for its statement; AADH does not certify that goods are deforestation-free.
