An organic soy processing plant project in Togo
Giscorp is preparing an organic soy processing plant in Togo, focused on the soy protein industry. The project is at the study and financing stage.
What it will produce
- texturised soy protein;
- soy oil.
These products will be for export, to the food industry and for industrial uses.
Local, organic sourcing
The plant will source only organic soy, from farmers’ cooperatives, with supply organised as close as possible to the growers.
Research and partners
In 2024, Giscorp signed a research agreement with Gembloux Agro-Bio Tech (University of Liège), with the TERRA laboratory and CARE Foodislife, to support the development of new organic soy products.
Traceability, from seed to finished product
Traceability along the chain, from seed to finished product, will rely on AADH, the platform of our agro-data activity.
